Concussion Settlement

We were retained by a university student who had been involved in two motor vehicle accidents that left him with chronic debilitating headaches. Shortly after the second accident, he was the victim of a physical assault that left him with a fractured cheekbone. Defense counsel argued that the headaches were as a result of the assault, not the car accidents. We referred our client to a headache specialist, whose opinion was that the accidents and not the assault were the cause. We obtained a settlement of $135,000 for our client.
